Parents
Support the Program
Why does the council raise money?
To provide the best Girl Scout program for your daughter at the lowest cost to you.
It takes more than the $12 registration fee to prepare our daughters for the future.
The true cost of the program is more than $250 per girl annually. This cost is not passed on to our members.
The council provides more than a 50% subsidy for activities such as camping, program events, and horse back riding.
Each year we ask community members, corporations, foundations, the United Way, our volunteers, board of directors, staff and parents to support our Annual Fund. Together we need to raise more than $1,016,300 to support your daughter’s Girl Scout experience!
How Can You Help?
Join the ranks of more than 9,000 donors who have already made their commitment this year to support a program that inspires your daughter to learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, and the thrill of accomplishment.
If you were not asked by your troop leader to support the Annual Fund campaign when you registered, please download a form, donate online or make a monthly commitment.
