2009-10 new volunteer support conference calls

You don’t have to face Atlanta traffic for this learning opportunity…you can do it in your pajamas and slippers…you can do it from home (or anywhere you have a phone)! Hear from the experts about what works! Share your ideas! Get your questions answered!

Each date below will have two conference call sessions, one at 10 a.m. and one at 1 p.m.. Sessions are one hour long. Simply call in on a toll-free number. Learn about:

  • September 24 – Always learning - training opportunities for you
  • October 29 – A great Girl Scout Cookie Program – managing your troop's finances
  • November 19 – Taking your troop on the road – field trips and more
  • January 28 – Let’s get global – Girl Scout Thinking Day and other traditions
  • February 25 – Wrapping up the year with Spring Registration and planning for the future
  • March 25 – Celebrating your success – end-of-year celebrations

Your virtual guide to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience

Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) has recently developed a supplemental electronic resource for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience that is now available on the GSUSA Web site. This online resource has six flash-based modules intended to convey an overall understanding of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and its impact on girls. It is an informational tool designed to fully explain the key features and benefits of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience including: journeys, pathways, three keys to leadership, three processes and outcomes.
